A Little Bit

So, first photo shoot done single handedly. Used my digital SLR, the Mamiya RB (damn photo cage guy gave the RZ's to other people), and a Calumet 4x5 (54 to some). It was good, a little hectic to get the hang of touching the cameras and operating them on my own, but awesome. I got a little long distance call from my certain someone mid-way through, which was super thoughtful and amazing. Made me giddy and forget about the difficult levers and knobs. But, yeah, I can so see myself doing something like this further on. Maybe not the whole headshot part of it (we all acknowledged it was the bland part of the assignment), but portraits are a fun thing to do, and just planning out shoots as well. I'll get some of the digital tests up here soon... once I finish my homework for the next few weeks to increase time spent with said certain someone who's coming REALLY soon.
