I hate it when I look/listen to an album and know it will never feel the same as it did the first few times I listened to it. Granted, it's nice to have a warmth and comfort within a song, but there's nothing better than hearing a song that kicks your ass, that brings fear to your ears. This moment was stated in the last episode of Freaks and Geeks, it seems to be an equivalent to how smokers feel about their first few hits of nicotine; this feeling of the beginning, perhaps something larger than oneself. Where one just wants something unattainable. I feel this way with the Kills, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs... I'm sure many more, but you get the idea.
